Project Statement of Work (SOW)
It is a narrative description of products, services, or results to be delivered by a project.
For Internal Projects – SOW is provided by project sponsor or project initiator
For External Projects – SOW is provided by the customer as part of bid documentation.
SOW may not be complete when received as an input to the “Develop Charter Process”.
SOW may be further defined or elaborated in the Project Scope Statement during the Planning phase.
